Since November 2022, Captain Homero has been permanently stationed aboard the Galapagos Sky, navigating the enchanting waters of the Galapagos Islands.
While it’s challenging for him to choose a favorite diving spot, Captain Homero finds the experiences in Darwin and Wolf to be unparalleled, resonating not just with him but with all divers who dream of exploring these renowned locations.

Enrique “Quike” Morán
Enrique “Quike” Moran, hailing from Santa Cruz, Galapagos, began his journey into scuba diving in 2003. By 2010, he had earned his open water scuba instructor certification and became a licensed dive guide for the Galapagos Marine Reserve. With his qualifications, Quike swiftly transitioned into leading dive trips across the archipelago, from local dive boats to liveaboards and private yachts, catering to divers of all skill levels. For over two decades, he has passionately shared his expertise in diving and marine life with visitors to the Galapagos. In his leisure time, Quike indulges in surfing, traveling, camping, and cherishing moments with his family and friends.
Natasha Cabezas
Natasha’s childhood on the shores of the Galapagos sparked her love for nature, leading her to become a professional diver and naturalist for the Galapagos Marine Reserve. Despite humble beginnings and unconventional language learning, she pursued her passion, completing over 9000 dives and earning high honors in a specialized naturalist course. Natasha’s commitment lies in sharing her deep love and knowledge of the islands with visitors from around the world
Max Castillo
Max was born on Santa Cruz Island, Galapagos and is a 51-year-old professional diver and tour guide. While he pursued interior design in Quito, his true passion has always been diving. He started as a commercial diver to support his studies, then returned to the Galapagos Islands at 19 to begin his career and become a Dive Master through the Galapagos National Park Service. For nine years, he has been with Ecoventura, notably aboard Galapagos Sky, offering unforgettable diving experiences in protected waters. Max invites all divers to explore the ocean’s beauty and join conservation efforts, embodying the ethos of “an islander who loves life at sea.
Solon Intriago
Solón visited the Galapagos Islands in 1987, instantly captivated by its breathtaking nature and extraordinary species. In 1992, he obtained his diving certificate, followed by his Galapagos Marine Reserve certification in 2001 on Santa Cruz Island, where he now resides with his wife and two daughters. Over the years, Solón has contributed to numerous documentaries, including projects with National Geographic in 1995 and the BBC in 2005.
